This article is aimed at analyzing river passenger transport infrastructure systems in order to establish a theoretical foundation for designing a modern system of architectural facilities serving river transport passengers. Based on the analysis of cities with developed river transport systems, both in domestic and international contexts, the study identifies the key factors influencing the formation of routes and the placement of facilities serving river passenger transport. It also formulates the principles for developing river transport infrastructure facilities. The findings reveal the specific characteristics of forming a river passenger transport system and provide a solid basis for its future development.
