  • Investigation of the effect of mineral additives on the properties of self-compacting fine-grained concrete

The compositions of self-compacting fine-grained concrete using mineral additives such as silica, limestone flour and trepel, as well as polycarboxylate superplasticizer, have been studied. The main attention is paid to the effect of the composition of the mixture on the compressive and flexural strength, density, water resistance and frost resistance of concrete. The test results showed that samples with silica demonstrate increased strength, while the introduction of trepel and limestone flour reduces this indicator. The highest density and frost resistance (F600) were achieved in formulations with silica, without additional additives. The work highlights the importance of optimizing the grain composition of aggregates and the choice of plasticizers to improve concrete performance.

  • Investigation of increasing the durability of heavy concrete using microsilicon and trepel as active mineral additives

The article is a continuation of the research on increasing the durability of heavy concrete and extending the life cycle of structures. The objective of the study is to determine the effect of the action of microsilicon and trepel additives introduced into the concrete mixture on increasing the strength characteristics of concrete. A control composition of a given concrete class in terms of strength B60, class F400 frost resistance and W20 water resistance, with the addition of superplasticizer ST 5.0, was selected. A comparative analysis of various concrete compositions was carried out in order to increase their strength characteristics and density. As a result of experiments, it was found that the introduction of 5% silica or trepel, as well as their combinations, helps to achieve a given strength class of B60 and increase the density of concrete. The use of superplasticizer ST 5.0 ensures the necessary mobility of the mixture without increasing the water-cement ratio, which improves the durability and performance of the materials. The results obtained allow us to recommend additives for the production of high-strength concrete with improved technical performance.

  • The use of recycled materials obtained during the dismantling of objects undergoing renovation in St. Petersburg

The article discusses the use of recycled materials obtained during the dismantling of facilities during renovation in St. Petersburg. The districts of St. Petersburg with "problematic" houses, such as panel "Khrushchev" and "ships" of the first type, are highlighted. Data on the types of waste, volumes of concrete scrap, features and applications of secondary rubble are presented. Examples of organizations in St. Petersburg dealing with waste recycling are given. The purpose of the work is to study the possibilities of recycling construction waste for reuse in construction and landscaping of the region.

  • Study of self-compacting concrete properties with microsilica and grinded concrete crush as a complex additive.

The article presents results of self-compacting concrete with microsilica and grinded concrete crush additive study. The work presents concrete mix designes and mechanical tests results.Found that with the use of complex additive it is possible to obtain concrete of class B80 with a strength of at least 60 MPa after 7 days of hardening under normal conditions. High frost resistance of such concrete is noted. Concluded the possibility of complex additive application and potential advantages of its usage in self-compacting concrete.

  • Influence of frequency converters of pumping and ventilation installations on the operation of the internal power supply network of the enterprise

The analysis of the frequency-controlled drive currently used on the technological equipment of the Volgogradneftemash enterprise is presented. Taking into account the peculiarities of the pumping and ventilation equipment installed at the enterprise, the principles of regulation are determined and the influence of a frequency-controlled drive on the quality of electrical energy is evaluated. The negative influence of the frequency-controlled drive of ventilation and pumping equipment on individual indicators of electricity quality was noted. In order to reduce this influence, an energy-saving device has been proposed for installation. The issues of the possibility of using an energy-saving device at the facility are considered, as well as an analysis of its efficiency during operation from the point of view of improving the quality of electricity in the internal power supply system of the Volgogradneftemash open Joint stock company is carried out. The use of the device is an effective solution, since it leads to high energy efficiency of technological equipment by reducing current surge, suppression of higher harmonics and electromechanical interference.

  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of concrete scrap as a large aggregate for concrete

The article is devoted to the problems of the use of building waste in the demolition of houses, as well as substandard products at housing enterprises. The issues of concrete scrap processing, methods of its crushing to obtain materials that can be reused to create reinforced concrete products and structures are considered. Concrete scrap has been investigated for compliance with requirements for large aggregate for construction works. Compositions based on conventional coarse aggregate, concrete scrap and conventional fine aggregate have been developed. For the compositions, the technological characteristics of the concrete mixture are determined, as well as the physical and mechanical characteristics of the concrete at 28 days of age. The use of such compositions for the production of reinforced concrete structures is justified.
