The article examines aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in architectural and construction design. Building design is a complex and multi-factorial process that requires careful analysis of multiple parameters, including strength, functionality, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. In the context of globalization and rapid technological progress, there is a need for innovative approaches that can improve the quality of design solutions and reduce the time for their implementation. One of the promising areas in this area is the integration of artificial intelligence in the design of buildings and structures. Artificial intelligence is transforming the field of construction design, providing the following significant advantages, such as optimizing the design process, analyzing a large amount of data and improving the quality of design solutions, developing innovative concepts. Building design is a complex process involving strength, functionality, environmental friendliness, energy efficiency and compliance. In the context of globalization and technological progress, innovative approaches are needed. One promising solution is the integration of artificial intelligence, which optimizes the design process, analyzes large amounts of data and improves the quality of solutions. Artificial intelligence automates routine tasks such as drawing generation and load calculations, allowing architects to focus on creativity. It also validates design compliance, predicts design behavior under extreme conditions, and offers optimal materials, reducing costs and improving quality. Artificial intelligence opens up possibilities for creating innovative architectural solutions, including generative design and virtual visualization. He adapts projects to individual needs, improving comfort. The article provides an example of the use of artificial intelligence - a crack monitoring system in the buildings of the North Caucasus Federal University (Stavropol city). It analyzes images of defects using deep learning and computer vision, determining their parameters and causes. In the future, the system will be able to work with video materials in real time. The interpenetration of artificial intelligence and design processes is a dynamically developing and promising area with great potential for improving the quality of design solutions. However, for the successful introduction of artificial intelligence, it is necessary to take into account not only technical aspects, but also ethical and social issues related to its application. In the future, we can expect further development of artificial intelligence technologies in architecture and construction, which will lead to the creation of more sustainable, energy-efficient and innovative buildings that meet modern requirements and expectations of society.
