The article discusses methods of mixing expensive light oil with heavy oil to produce oil mixtures that meet the customer's needs in their properties. A block diagram of in-line mixing of sulfurous and low-sulfur oil is presented by means of automatic control of pumping units pumping oil into the main oil pipeline by means of an adaptive PID controller controlled by a flow analyzer of input oil parameters.
