  • Research of properties and characteristics of foam glass broken stone application in road constructions

This article describes the territories of the northern regions of the Russian Federation, the problems of the distribution of permafrost soils (MMG), and discusses the difficulties encountered in the construction of roads in difficult geocryological conditions. The introduction of heat-insulating layers of foam glass rubble into the design of pavement is proposed. The basic physical and technical characteristics have been analyzed, and the key properties of foam glass rubble are determined. The article describes the process of production of foam glass, the advantages that allow the use of this material in various fields of construction. Typical road structures made of soil are considered. A comparison is made of a typical construction of pavement made traditionally from soil (high embankment) with a construction with a heat-insulating layer of foam-glass rubble. The advantages have been listed when using structures using foam glass rubble in road construction.

  • The information model of the project – as the basis of value engineering at all stages of a project arrangement, in the example of the company "Gazprom Neft"

The article reveals the challenges of designing oil and gas sector, associated with large economic costs and shows how to use modern methods of design, namely through the creation of an information model of the project, it is possible to avoid errors at all stages of creation and implementation of the project. Application of information model of the project according to preliminary estimates, could lead to savings of up to 10% of economic resources. Today, many companies have successfully used the BIM model, one of the biggest example is the oil and gas field in Badr.

  • Project management of oil and gas complex based on building information modeling (BIM-technologies)

The article is devoted to project management of oil and gas complex and solving problems with the help of building information modeling at all stages of the project life cycle. It is dealt with some of the problems that arise during project management for construction of complex technological objects. The paper proposes the introduction of innovative information modeling technology to solve the problems. It is spoken in detail about the basic concepts and levels of development of building information model. The text describes some of the tasks that can be solved with the help of BIM-technologies at all stages of the project life cycle. Also, it is shown the impact on project outcomes and relationship between BIM engagement level and return on investment. In conclusion, the article points out that use of building information modeling leads to rapid, cheap and effective project management of oil and gas complex.
