  • Evaluation criteria of technologies for logging industries

    The technology of timber in the forest Fund has a significant value on the cost of production of round timber. Therefore, this task is urgent and most important for logging companies. It is important to pre-determine the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the technology of logging operations. It is, above all, efficiency, environment and safety work. In this article studies in some detail their implications for production, workers and the natural environment, which improves the validity of the decisions on the selection of variants of technical and technological organization of the timber industry. The practical significance of the use of evaluation criteria logging is technically focused on improving outcomes for timber production and increasing economic-social and ecological-silvicultural sustainability of the forest sector of the Russian economy. A detailed analysis of the evaluation criteria logging technology allows not only to consider them from the point of view of efficiency, which in most cases occurs, but equally take into account the impact on the environment and safety in the logging operations.

  • Logging transport performance analysis under the real natural-industrial conditions

    One of the main tasks when organizing workflows of logging transport is the choice of log truck optimal type for logging under specific operation conditions. The method proved by the authors and engineered modelling program of log trucks traffic parameters give an opportunity to accomplish engineering tasks of the choice of logging transport type to operate under various natural-industrial conditions for certain. The example of the log truck optimal type choice is given.

  • Modeling of management systems individual trajectories of training

    The article describes algorithms for constructing learning management system for the organization of individual student learning. This training takes place throughout training and is based on the multidisciplinary integration and internal differentiation. Also in the article describes the construction of such systems.   • Modeling of 3 fabrics for the minimum surfaces

  • Forecasting of residual stresses under heat treatment of aluminum alloys

    The article describes and analyzes how to determine the thermal residual stresses. The conclusion, based on the analysis, showed the necessity of the calculation method for determining the residual stresses, which is based on a mathematical model of the formation of residual stresses and deformations occurring during heat treatment. The results of calculation of stresses and comparison with experimental data are given.

  • Linear surface of equi-affine transformations

    Linear surfaces of congruence of parabolic rotation which sections are Equiaffine figure (the secant plane is parallel to the plane xOy) are described. The coefficients of quadratic forms of surfaces are determined. A special case of the surface is considered which is obtained by immersion of a circle in a parabolic congruence. The relationships of equi-affine transformation of a circle and the location of the secant plane are determined.

  • Analysis of factors affecting the choice of mode of transport for freight transportation in Russia

    The article includes analysis of the freight market in the Russian Federation. There are factors that influence the choice of transport for the cargo transportation. The author reviewed the cost structure of road transport. The article presents the method of calculating the cost of railway transportation and the cost of rolling stock. The author reveals factors affecting the cost of rolling stock. The analysis of the competitiveness of rail and road transport. As a result, concluded that the need to develop measures to improve the competitiveness of rail transport, to improve the reliability and continuity of rolling stock`s providing to consigners, as well as the construction of a model where the JSC ""Russian Railways"" acts as a regulator of the availability of rolling stock on the network.

  • Improving the efficiency of a snowplow blade for snow removal for road barriers

    analysis of the conditions of movement of vehicles on the roads has shown that special difficulties arise in the winter. This is due to the quality of the work of snowplows. One problem is the snow removal for road barriers. In line with this, and considered the possibility of the need to improve, creating a Russian-made snow plows. Based on the analysis of schemes snow removal from roads, structures working bodies with piles of snow plows, proposed a new design that allows for snow removal for road barriers, as well as the proposed use of a working body under a snowplow clearing patrol roads. At the expense of achieving the universality of cars increased their rate of use and, therefore, the payback period. The effectiveness of implementation of the new structure of the working body of the snowplow is achieved by reducing the amount of used equipment and passes undertaken during snow removal

  • Stability of concrete arch in creep

    The phenomenon of buckling under the creep of concrete arches was investigated. Solution of the problem carried out by means of the finite element method. To analyze the stability we used Newton-Raphson method. It has been established that there is a long-term critical load, beyond which the growth of the deflection has not fading character. As the equation of the relationship between the creep deformation and strains we used viscoelastoplastic hereditary model of aging concrete. To determine the creep strain we used a linear approximation with respect to time. It was found that the long critical load for considered arch was in 1.44 times lower than the instant critical load.

  • The development of railway infrastructure of the Southern region as a means of increasing transportation process efficiency

    The problem of infrastructural limitations of approaches to the sea ports of the Southern region is considered in the article. The analysis of handling and carrying capacity of railway and port infrastructures is given. The calculation of available and needful carrying capacity of railway sections is carried out. The construction of double-track spans on the final stage of design of the approaches to the transportation junctions is suggested.

  • Structural adaptation of equipment for excavation works

    The article describes the working conditions of earth-moving machinery. The main ones are climatic and groundwater.   • Development of the method of planning the path of the mobile autonomous robot in a three dimensional environment based on fuzzy logic

    The purpose and objectives of this work is to develop methods of planning the path of the mobile autonomous robots operating in environments with unknown location of obstacles. The result of the article is vague planner travel path of autonomous mobile robots for three-dimensional space (3D environments). The results differ from known analogues structure proposed planner, consisting of two interconnected parts, designed for use in horizontal and vertical planes, context-sensitive coordination method "simple" behavior of the mobile robot, a set of rules governing the method of prevention "jam" in the obstacles.

  • The computational model resiliently deformable radial bearing of finite length, running on a stratified lubricant

    The paper presents a method for forming exact self-similar solution of the problem of calculating the compliant hydrodynamic journal bearing of finite length, running on layered lubricant in the axial lubrication. On the basis of the equations of motion of a viscous incompressible fluid, continuity equation and Lame equations for the case of a "thin layer" found the velocity and pressure, analytical expressions for the components of the supporting forces, the forces of friction and resistance forces axial movement of the lubricant. The analytical expressions for the value of the lubricant in the axial direction. The estimation of the parameters characterizing the ratio of the viscous layer adapted profile and the deformation of the elastic layer on the basic performance of the bearing. Established the most rational of the bearing capacity, the force of friction and lubricant consumption values ​​of these parameters.

The importance of fundamental positions and physics principles is especially underlined by consideration of various is natural-scientific displays.   • Synthesis of sodium and potassium alkoxides using electrochemical methods

    The present work is devoted to development of methods for the synthesis of alkoxides of alkali metals. The main factors determining the rate of reaction of sodium with alcohols is a contact surface area solid and liquid phases and the power of the appropriate alcohol as acids. We studied the dependence of the rate of interaction of sodium metal with a variety of alcohols from their acid dissociation constant pKa. To slow the rates of interaction of sodium and potassium with alcohols were used their amalgams. Amalgam was obtained by electrolysis of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide. The interaction process alkali metal amalgam flows quietly enough, even in the case of methyl alcohol and potassium amalgam. Technological scheme involves three stages: the electrolysis of sodium hydroxide at ordinary electrolytic with flowing mercury cathode; an anodic dissolution of the amalgam in an alcohol solution and recovering the sodium or potassium alkoxides. The proposed method allows the synthesis of sodium and potassium alkoxides in soft and controlled conditions.

  • The analysis model of the radial bearing based on nonlinear rheological equation of the Maxwell, given the existence of a limiting shear stress

    This paper presents a method of calculating the hydrodynamic radial slide bearing runs on the lubricant that has both viscoplasticity properties. When developing the analysis model as the initial equations the nonlinear Maxwell model with the existence of the limit shear stress. Asymptotic solution of the problem was found in even powers of the parameter due to the presence of limiting shear stress of the lubricant. Found the velocity field and the pressure in the lubricating layer obtained analytical expression for the bearing capacity of the bearing. The estimation of influence of parameters characterizing the elastic properties of the lubricant (the Deborah number) and a dimensionless parameter characterizing the viscoelastic properties of the lubricant parameter (plasticity) on the bearing capacity of the radial bearing.

  • Brief characteristics of soil pollution the Lower Don and the Azov Sea re-gion by nickel (Ni).

    The evaluation of degree of soil pollution the Lower Don and the Azov Sea region by nickel (Ni). Given the main geochemical characteristics of the item, its impact on human health at concentrations exceeding the MAC. Considered the main sources of Ni in the geological environment of the Rostov-on-Don city; analyzed migration routes. Allocated and described lithogeochemical anomalies with the contents of the element 1 to 3.5 MAC. Calculated basic geochemical criteria, according to which the identified categories by degree of soil pollution.
