  • Affective and cognitive components of socio-cultural attitudes

The relationship between the affective and cognitive components of attitudes in relation to a surrounding cultural landscape is investigated on a concrete example. The functions of distribution of perception level for cultural infrastructure are calculated on the basis of the experimental results obtained in May-June, 2015 by questioning among students of DonSTU. The emotional component was determined by technology of semantic differential. The primary data were processed in the nonlinear model developed within the catastrophe theory. The cognitive component was found by a technique of direct poll with the subsequent factorization by a classical method and allocation of key parameter. The difference in affective and cognitive perception of cultural infrastructure is discovered. At the group level the number of respondents which declared positive and strongly positive cognitive assessment are 10% more than for emotional one. With neutral perception, on the contrary, is 7% more on an affective indicator. In general on group the cognitive assessment is overestimated, the average level of emotional perception of infrastructure is 0,14 and cognitive is 0,27 (on a scale from -1 to +1). At the individual level these indicators among themselves practically don't correlate (Pearson's coefficient is 0,2).The received results say that the standard technique of direct poll at research of a cultural landscape is limited and it should be supplemented with the analysis of emotional perception. Such analysis for the considered audience is provided in work.

  • Sociographic measurement of latent conflict potential students of KChR Part II

In this article the method of investigation of latent conflict potential student administrative centers of the Federation of South Russia (for example, KCR). It is based on direct empirical data collected at the beginning of 2015 questioning of students of Karachay-Cherkessia State University. Distribution functions of the respondents to assess the cognitive component of the various components of latent conflict potential are provided. All these functions are divided by their sociological meaning of a number of groups: cognitive characteristics of socio-economic security, indicators of loyalty to the authorities (they also evaluate the legitimacy), and a large group of respondents to identify the level of protest. Using a consistent factorization, eventually the entire initial set reduced to three indicators of latent conflict potential: the index of socio-economic expectations indicator of legitimacy, the index of the protest. Distribution functions are provided for these characteristics. To assess the level of overall latent conflict potential is proposed to use a matrix of conflict, showing how the contributions of individual parties and the total effect.

  • Socio-economic aspects of deprivation attitudes of student KChR

The paper presents an analysis of the relationship of cognitive and affective components of deprivation installations. The research is based on empirical data from survey conducted in early 2015 in Karachay State University. As indicators of deprivation plants used cognitive and emotional evaluation of individual socio-economic security. Cognitive measured by direct survey. Emotional - technology of semantic differential. It was found that these estimates do not correlate with each other. At the statistical level of the entire set of respondents cognitive appraisal always overpriced compared to the affective. Revealed the limitations of the measurement of relative deprivation accepted by direct questioning. It is shown that the developed method for measuring the earlier emotional perception of social processes and phenomena completely solves this problem.

  • Stochastic interpretation of psychosemantic phenomenological model of estimates of social attitude

Within a stochastic approach the influence of the random component of the individual responses to the interpretation results data obtained by the technology of semantic differential is investigated. It is offered density of probability for the studied actor at the individual level to describe Fokker – Planck equation. For specific calculations is used the stochastic differential equations (Ito or Stratonovich) which is producing last. The distribution functions throughout the research pool are determined by the Monte Carlo method implemented in agent-oriented application package Any Logic. It is shown that the previously developed model of affective social attitudes easily fits into this scheme, and allows to appreciate the emotional components of attitudes, taking into account stochasticity original settings. The results of studying the dependence of the result variance from errors in the primary parameters are given. It is obtained that the relative errors for both are of one order. The article shows the structural stability of the model at the individual and group levels.

  • The use of the Minkowski metric of the first order in social studies

The article presents a symmetry criterion for selection of metric used in interpreting the results of the measurements for different scales. The effect of the mismatch in a pair of scale – metric for technologies for semantic differential is studied numerically on the specific example. The analysis was performed on a concrete example interpreting the results of the survey of emotional perception of political order, made in May 2014 on the basis of RSSU. It was obtained that for the study of static group characteristics it is acceptable to use when interpreting the common approach with Euclidean metric. In the study individual characteristics and their subsequent use for modeling, you need to take the metric corresponding to the measurement scale. The Manhattan distance in this case. The functions of distribution for emotional perception of local and Central authorities with the use of this metric are obtained. It is shown that the investigated audience is consistent with the Pareto principle in the formation of conflict processes.

  • The agent-based model of conflicts students KCR

The final work in the series of four articles devoted to the development of a methodology for a comprehensive study of latent conflicts of students (on the basis of the Karachay-Cherkess University). From empirical measurement, development indicators, characterizing the possibility of conflicts with various parties and identifies their relationship, to the definition of integrative indices of affective and cognitive components. At the final stage, reflected in the present work, on the basis of these components is constructed an index of the overall conflicts. For this purpose, a stochastic psychosemantic model, developed based on the concept of typicality, in the framework of the catastrophe theory. It allows taking into account the measurement uncertainty and instability of the respondents ' opinions. The index of total conflicts is modeled by a random variable. Statistical characteristics of which were determined by Monte Carlo simulation using agent - oriented simulation package AnyLogic. Offered in a series of technique can be used not only to monitor but also to predict the situation and simulate the impact of various adverse factors, or Vice versa, proactive assessment of impacts. The paper also shows the specific results for the investigated sample of students KCR. In particular, it was found that the subgroup of the risk of formation of conflictogenic processes includes 15% of all respondents.

  • Methodology for monitoring perception of the cultural complex

Substantiated the technique of monitoring the state of the cultural complex of the city or the subject of the Russian Federation, based on sentinel populations. The study was conducted among the students of the 2nd year RGSU. As an integral indicator of the development of the cultural complex and the its individual components, use one of the cultural components of the group setting - the level of emotional perception of the relevant components. Normalized between -1 (total rejection) to 1 (absolute satisfaction). Primary data obtained questionnaires, one of projective techniques - by Charles Osgood's semantic differential. Interpretation of the results carried out on the basis of the theory of perception Information respondent suggested Coombs - ideal point model. Levels of perception are calculated in the linear approximation, as well as in the non-linear model, which we developed based on the concept of typicality, in terms of the theory of catastrophes. In contrast to the conventional approach of technology of semantic differential, calculations are performed not by the average semantic portraits, and by individual, using multi-agent modeling package Any Logic. Ultimately, calculated the distribution of function level of emotional perception of infrastructure and cultural life of the city as a whole on respondents. It is shown that the distribution function of the level of emotional perception of cultural infrastructure and cultural level of the city as a whole is almost the same. It was found that the emotional perception of the students strongly smeared cultural infrastructure, from strongly negative (-1) to a significant positive (+0.8). The main result - shows prospect the offered technique for assessment of development of the cultural infrastructure of the city as a whole, and for the analysis of cultural deprivation separate groups of the population.
