  • Simulation of an automated control system for the galvanization process

The article deals with the problem of modeling an automated control system for the process of electroplating metal parts. The analysis of literature sources devoted to electroplating is carried out. The problem and process of electroplating metal parts with the use of reverse is considered. The calculated ratios are given to determine the required current (direct, reverse, increased, reversed), the process time and other internal parameters for the galvanization process. The possibility of performing current switching, setting its value and determining the process time, as well as reversing with the help of automation tools is considered on the example of the model. The model allows for given geometrical parameters galvanization details and preset thickness of the plating to calculate the basic control parameters of galvanization process: electroplating current and duration of the electroplating process. The electroplating process model is sensitive to the shape of the electroplated parts and the composition of the electrolyte, so the automated control system must perform model calculations for each type of parts and electrolyte. Graphs of simulation results in the SimInTech software environment obtained by drawing up a block diagram for a model of an automated control system for the process of galvanizing parts are presented.

  • Distributed control of a group of stepper motors based on multi-channel transceivers

The article considers the solution of the problem of distributed control of a group of stepper motors based on multi-channel transceivers. The analysis of literature sources devoted to the development of wireless stepper motor control systems is carried out. The expediency and possibility of distributed control of stepper motors of manipulator links using multi-channel transceivers are considered. It is assumed that there is a need for two-way information exchange between the stepper motor module and the Central control system. The design ratio for the duration of the cycle of the full package of control information with the values of the duration of pauses, switching reception and transmission, the duration of the preamble and the duration of transmission of the address, useful information and checksums of the package. The possibility of increasing the maximum frequency of control pulses transmitted over the information channel when transmitting a sequence of control packets instead of single packets is proved. The structure of the package for controlling the electronic stepper motor driver is defined, including a pointer to the direction of rotation, the duration of pulses and the degree of fractional step. An example of calculation, based on the obtained ratios, of the maximum speed of rotation of the stepper motor shaft for specific models of the engine and the transceiver in the case of a six-channel control system is given. • Model of ultrasonic information channel with piezoelectric transceivers

In the article the model of ultrasonic information communication channel realized on the basis of piezoelectric transceivers is considered. The model is based on the known model of a single transceiver in the form of an equivalent RLC circuit by introducing a resistive coupling between the electrical circuits of two transceivers. Piezoelectric elements are used in the field of their own resonant frequencies, which allows them to match the oscillatory circuits with reactive and resistive elements. The choice of resistive coupling is due to the fact that the energy of the emitted ultrasonic waves can be represented as the energy that is scattered on the resistive element of the oscillatory circuit. On the part of the receiver of ultrasonic waves, it is natural to believe that the received energy also enters the resistive element of its oscillatory circuit. It is possible in principle to introduce a functional dependence of the depth of the resistive coupling on the spatial length of the information channel and the radiation pattern of the piezoelectric transceiver. Simulation modeling was carried out to assess the functionality of the obtained relations. The constructed graphical dependencies allow to illustrate the properties of the proposed model.

  • Dynamic characteristics of the relative humidity sensor

The article considers the solution of the problem of determining the dynamic characteristics of the relative humidity sensor, the mathematical model of which was based on the first order aperiodic link. The solution algorithm consists in minimizing the value of the standard mismatch of the approximating function and the set of experimental data. The results of processing experiments with the DHT-22 temperature and humidity sensor are presented. The sensor was placed three times in a medium with high humidity, which allowed to obtain an average experimental transient response. The period of measurement and registration of humidity and temperature was 1.5 seconds. The proposed method of calculating the dynamic parameters of the sensor allowed to determine the value of the time constant and the gain of the aperiodic link for the sensor under study. The obtained dynamic characteristics can be used to form an inverse transfer function for the humidity sensor.

  • Calibrating the triaxial accelerometer according to a number of measurements with different orientation

The problem of calibration of a three-axis acceleration sensor is considered. A number of measurements obtained with the sensor at its different orientations in space are used as initial data for calibration. It is assumed that the sensor is stationary for each orientation variant. The measurement data are averaged at each static sensor position, and the averaged results are used as parameters in a system of nonlinear equations that are solved by the Levenberg-Marquardt method. The results of the proposed method in the article are presented in the experiment with a real sensor, which allows to check its effectiveness.

  • The calculation of Peltier working mode using as a cooler in air drying module

Drying module is a part of any modern gas analysing device. Using the Peltier elements for cooling the gas probe in druying module is a known technical solution. Peltier elements are very energy-intensive things. So the task of calculation of amount of electrical energy which is needed for predetermined temperature decline of gas probe is very topical. The solution of this task is given in the article. With formulas for partial pressure of vapour we can calculate the humidity of gas at the output of drying module. Then we can find the temperature of gas. Finally using the heat balance equation and nomogramms we can calculate the voltage for Peltier element.
