  • Efficiency of the use of automatic controls to ensure the hydraulic resistance heating system

    The centralized heating system does not have a particularly flexible operation. Often one can observe a situation where people in the middle of winter are forced to open windows so that the temperature in the room becomes more or less acceptable. The purpose of this article to consider advantage of use of automatic regulators, to disclose their principle of action and influence on hydraulic stability of a heating system.

  • Study on Stress Inhomogeneity in Finite Element Model of Polycrystal at Non-uniform Uniaxial Tension

    The paper deals with the results of study on the degrees of stress inhomogeneity caused by interaction between differently oriented crystalline grains in macrovolumes in case of non-uniform uniaxial tension. Calculation of finite element volume consisting of forty grains is performed. It has been revealed that the quantity of forty grains is enough for constituting the smallest body volume, which can be assumed to have the averaged properties of a macrovolume. Directions of crystallographic axes were selected randomly. Calculations were performed for various metals with cubic and hexagonal lattices. Based on the results of calculations, the curves of normal stresses in the central cross-section of the elementary volume were constructed. It has been found that the significant exceedance of normal stress values is possible in comparison to the values calculated for quasi-isotropic fine-grain material. Dependence between the degree of stress inhomogeneity and the degree of anisotropy of elastic properties has been demonstrated

  • Justification of design of activators of disinfection of liquid fraction of animal waste

    Protection of water resources and environmental management are directly related to the development of environmentally friendly technologies for the disposal of liquids with pathogenic properties. A significant proportion of this type of waste is wastewater and liquid manure. The urgency of application of technical means of intensification of process of utilization of liquid fraction of waste of animal husbandry, in particular liquid manure and manure drains is proved. The longest and most complex operation of the recycling cycle is disinfection. Analyzed design the most promising activators disinfection of this waste. The prospects of application of the technical solution in the form of a matrix of retention of ferromagnetic particles of the activator inductor are proved. The proposed solution is patented and can significantly improve the performance and quality of operation of disinfection activators when working with liquid media.

  • Application of geoinformation systems in various directions during construction

    In the construction and use of software technologies, including roads, using GIS and CAD technology. We can also use technologies without data to work with attribute information. GIS is used to manage a large number of different-scale information on construction, reconstruction,etc.Any construction consists of several stages, including the construction of roads, starting, as we see from the planning, then the design and coordination of objects and putting it into operation. GIS during construction is considered in conjunction with all stages., at what first analyze the location of the object on the map.   • Human activities as the principle of formation of social and functional of carcases in the spatially-geometrical properties of the urban environment

    The article deals with the human activity that is carried out in the spatial-geometrical conditions of the city. The main interest presents the distribution of forms an activity on the territory of the urban area. The allocation identified the social and functional frames or carcases, which characterized by the consolidation of properties, density, sparsity, and scattering. The skeletons set the degree of mixed use and diversity activities, and track the social and functional processes of their dynamics and changes in the spatial and geometrical properties of the urban environment.

  • Intellectual urban system and its implementation at the present stage of development of Russia

    This article raised the problem of the rapid pace of urban development and the conditions for comfortable living of the urban population. To solve these problems, the concept of “Smart City” was created. "Smart City" is a system that provides a high level of urban life, increasing the profitability of resource use by combining all the services and information systems of the city. The main elements of this concept and their role in the program are shown. There are ways to solve problems due to the implementation of the Smart City program. The question of the need for the growth of smart cities, and also shows the reasons for the long development of cities in this direction. The main ideas of the implementation of the "Smart City" program are described. The basic strategies for the development of "smart" cities in Russia are given.

  • Current trends in the design and construction of high-rise buildings

    The article presents the summary indicators for 2018, namely the number of completed buildings with a height of 200 meters and the proportion of the main construction material used in the construction. The analysis of the most prominent high-rise construction projects over the past ten years has been carried out and universal techniques have been formulated that allow to achieve improved energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of high-rise buildings. The description of each reception is accompanied by an example of its implementation in a specific unique building.

  • Methods of preparing the building information model for its further introduction into the system of technical operation

    The article is devoted to the conditions and tasks of the methodology of adaptation and preparation of information models of buildings and structures for subsequent implementation and effective application in the system of technical operation of the building. The following issues are addressed: analysis of the use of BIM-model at the operational stage; analysis of the difficulties encountered when using unprepared BIM-model in operation; synthesis of existing and development of alternative recommendations for filling the information model with data at each stage of design and construction for subsequent use in the operation service; the study of tools that help in the preparation of BIM-model; development of algorithms that optimize the preparation of an information model for the operation of an object.

  • Study of the dynamic characteristics of the bearing trusses of the coating during the removal of ventilation equipment on the roof of the shop

    The paper deals with the study of the dynamic characteristics of the coating farm. Due to the changes in the company's technological regulations, it became necessary to install additional ventilation equipment with its output to the roof of the shop. The study showed that to ensure safe operation in the structural scheme of bearing structures it is necessary to organize additional units. Dynamic load on the supporting structures is created by the operation of ventilation equipment. The spectrum of natural oscillation frequencies is determined. The values of these frequencies were compared with the frequency of forced oscillations of the fans. Graphs of the changes in natural frequencies when the fan operating frequency. According to the chart, when the frequency of the driving force coincides with the frequency of natural oscillations, the inertia forces increase sharply, which indicates the passage of the resonance zone. A study of changes in dynamic forces due to rotor imbalance was conducted. The value of the gap arising at wear of bearings at which there will be a destruction of a basic element of a farm was calculated.

  • Experimental evaluation of the properties of rocks with the aim of their use for the manufacture of decorative concrete blocks

    Experimental studies were conducted on the selection of rocks whose properties would satisfy the requirements for decorative concrete blocks made from them. Such properties as decorative effect, compressive strength, water absorption, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, frost resistance, etc. were evaluated. The properties of fine aggregate were also evaluated, from carbonate rocks — sand. Based on the work carried out, proposals were developed for a rational selection of the composition of decorative concrete

  • Automation of road construction works when using information systems and 3D models

    The construction and repair of the road network, taking into account the use of new materials, technology and, accordingly, technologies, raises the question of improving the management system of work methods and the targeted use of road construction machinery. The constructed algorithms for the constant monitoring and control of the execution of work on the objects are based on the methods of pattern and character recognition. This control system monitors and controls the movement of construction equipment and functional operations performed by the working bodies of road-building machines in real time. The search and selection of optimal solution algorithms, both managerial and production tasks, is based on solving problems in conditions of uncertain factor space and on the basis of economic justification. The main criterion for the advancement of production automation is economic feasibility.

  • Solution of the problem of structural mechanics for the calculation of a three-hinged, vertically loaded arch of parabolic outline in the computing software package of Mathcad

    The article presents a theoretical description and procedure for calculating the three-hinged arch parabolic outline. The technique of creation of the universal program in a computing complex of Mathcad for various options of vertical loading is in detail stated. The method of calculation of a three-hinged statically determined arch is considered in detail. The order of design calculation is given in the article. The technique of the automated creation of diagrams of internal power factors of an arch design is offered. A detailed description and analysis of the design scheme of three-hinged arch is given.

  • Acoustics design of home theaters

    Creating a comfortable acoustic climate and an enabling environment for listening to music and speech is crucial in the acoustic design of home theatres. The main requirements for the acoustics of home theater halls are low background noise, diffuse sound field, no echo and optimal reverberation time. The reverberation time is calculated in a certain order. The acoustic mode of the home theater room is assessed in the process of acoustic design.Then the acoustic cladding and electroacoustic equipment are selected.   • Chemical activation of dispersed silica-flask

    The differential thermal analysis (DTA) necessary for the study of structural changes in dispersed silica – flask occurring at elevated temperatures is carried out. A comparative analysis of the results of electromicroscopic studies, showing the dependence of the structure of the surface of the flask on the temperature treatment. It is considered that the defining characteristic of the natural sorbent-flask in the process of wastewater treatment is its specific surface area and porous structure. The influence of calcination temperatures on the adsorption properties of the natural mineral – flask is considered.

  • Determination of a rational set of machines in the production of excavation of the pit

    The article presents the results of calculations and selection of a set of construction machines for the development of soil in the pit.   • Development of steel framework frames with regard to plastic deformations

    The possibility of using European standards, manuals and manuals for the calculation of elements of nodes of frame structures according to criteria that have not been reflected in Russian standards today is being considered. Numerical methods have been used to analyze the bearing capacity of frame nodes for various combinations of longitudinal forces and bending moments. The formation of residual plastic deformations in the elements of the nodes of the frame structures is considered. The nodes were calculated using the ANSYS software package, and a comparative analysis of the calculation results according to European and Russian standards was performed based on the results of the calculation. The question is raised about the need for further numerical studies of the work of steel frame assemblies, including the conduct of field tests, as well as the development of new methods for calculating frame assemblies with regard to plastic deformations. As a result of the calculations and calculations, the need to take into account the fatigue survivability of steel frame assemblies is established, which is associated with the probability of the occurrence of full design loads for the design life

  • Define irrigatIon norm under irrigation by furrows

    Reviewed by hydrological and hydraulic processes on reclaimed territories and quantification of their manifestations, methods of artificial modification of hydraulic regime of irrigation. Mathematical description of the regularities of the characteristics of the flow of water in the artificial stream (furrows), interaction of water flows with side slopes and bottom grooves.   • Modeling of the initial area of emulsion formation

    The article deals with the principle of emulsion formation in mechanical absorbers, where the working body is presented in the form of a rotating cylinder. The analysis of interaction of liquids in the process of emulsion formation is made. The mutual influence of liquid layers is considered. The estimation of internal and external parameters characterizing the process of emulsion formation is obtained.   • Spatio-temporal category in architectural composition

    The question of the spatial and temporal forms of the architectural composition of urban development is considered. The philosophical and technical problems of using architectural forms and styles are solved. Revealed current opportunities for improving modern architectural composition. The concept of “time” in architecture is also used in various semantic evaluations. This meaning is often determined by the length of time, by which we denote large historical rhythms determined by social processes (alternation of social formations, change of styles in art); seasonal and daily rhythms determined by natural cycles that are the basis of all time measurements; periods of internal changes in the architectural form and, finally, smaller divisions - rhythms in the activities and perceptions of people). Within each time interval, in turn, certain changes are highlighted - the initial, the climax and the completion. Discrepancies between different time cycles at the same and in those spatial boundaries lead to different contradictions: between the periods of moral and physical aging of the building, between the time flexible function and the rigid spatial structure, between changes in natural climatic conditions and stability of the building envelope. The desire of architects to solve contradictions, to provide the most flexible flexibility in the function, to extend the moral life of the object - reflect the various theories of mobile architecture. Such developments emphasize the need for project-based time factor or “time design”. This article is useful to future architects for the formation of modern thinking about architecture, and architects with work experience who need to improve themselves as specialists.

    The work is devoted to the problem of production of heat exchangers of the "pipe-edge"type. The task is relevant, because today a large number of companies produces and repairs finned heat exchangers. A review of the existing methods of finning, among which, the most effective at the moment is considered to be high-frequency current finning.
