  • Quartz generator of decimeter waves

An experimental study of a quartz generator of the GK380-P-7VS-450M-3.3 s type was carried out.A description of the scheme and design is given. The results of the experiment are presented, including the frequency run-out, the frequency dependence on the supply voltage, and the output signal spectra for three different viewing bands. The following parameters of the output signal were obtained: the operating frequency of 450 MHz, the amplitude of the sinusoidal signal of 210 mV, the frequency run - out in 20 minutes of 550 Hz, frequency instability when the supply voltage changes 230 Hz, suppression of the second and third harmonics of at least 30 dB.

  • Experimental study of the direction-finding receiver of the centimeter range

The design documentation was developed, the layout was made, and an experimental study of the direction-finding receiver was conducted. A functional diagram and a description of the design are given. The method of the experiment is given. Shows the achievement of the following parameters: operating frequency range: centimeter; the dynamic range of the signals at the entrance 48 dB; the duration of the received pulses is not less than 0.1 µs; the irregularity of amplitude-frequency characteristics of not more than 5 dB.

  • Modeling of the low-pass filter

Results of modeling and a pilot study of a low-pass filter with a cut-off frequency of 4 GHz are given. Modeling of the filter was carried out in MicrowaveOffice application program package. The experiment was made on the vector analyzer of RXA chains. Results of modeling and an experiment conform to the imposed requirements, namely: - cut-off frequency is 4 GHz; - losses in bandwidth no more than 3 dB; - an obstacle on the second harmonic of cut-off frequency not less than 60 dB; - wave resistance of an input and exit of 50 Ohms.

  • Detectors of AEROFLEX company

A review of the serial microwave detectors of AEROFLEX company was conducted. Parameters of 116 detector models are considered. The features of AEROFLEX products are noted, including wide frequency range, high sensitivity, harsh operating conditions, a variety of design, including coaxial and strip type.

  • Resolving power of the rank detector

An experimental study of the resolving power of the rank detector of single pulses was carried out. Experimental dependences of the probability of detection- resolution of two pulses on the time position from the delay between the pulse fronts-are obtained. It is shown that the probability of correct detection - resolution reaches the value P101 = 0.5 with a signal-to-noise ratio = 2 for a delay between fronts of about 9,7 μs, and for a signal-to-noise ratio of 4 with a delay between fronts of about 9,1 μs.

  • The frequency divider for 32

The frequency divider for 32, operating in a range of frequencies 8-18 GHz is considered. The specifics of the schematic diagram is shown. The design and element base is described in short. The model is made and its experimental research is carried out. The technique and the block diagram of the experiment is described. Level of harmonics of an output signal is measured. For decrease of level of harmonics of the useful signal the low-pass filter of type SALF-580 is used. Presence of a parasitic output signal in the absence of an input signal is revelead.
