  • Modeling of the low-pass filter

    Results of modeling and a pilot study of a low-pass filter with a cut-off frequency of 4 GHz are given. Modeling of the filter was carried out in MicrowaveOffice application program package. The experiment was made on the vector analyzer of RXA chains. Results of modeling and an experiment conform to the imposed requirements, namely: - cut-off frequency is 4 GHz; - losses in bandwidth no more than 3 dB; - an obstacle on the second harmonic of cut-off frequency not less than 60 dB; - wave resistance of an input and exit of 50 Ohms.

  • Frequency Modulated Signal Generator

    An experimental study of a transistor generator with varicap rearrangement has been carried out. A schematic diagram is given, a brief description of the construction and an experimental technique are given. As the results of the experiment are given: • frequency dependence on control voltage (modulation characteristic) • dependence of power on control voltage (parasitic amplitude modulation) • output spectrum in the 500 MHz band

  • Directional coupler on ferrite rings

    A simulation and experimental study of a directional coupler with transformers on ferrite rings has been carried out. The operating frequency range is from 100 to 500 MHz. The directional coupler was modeled in the Microwave Office application package. An experimental study was carried out using a vector analyzer of the type "Overview-103". The frequency dependences of the working attenuation and transient attenuation are obtained. The directional coupler can be used in transmitting and measuring technology.

  • Experimental study of the passage detector

    The scheme and design of the detector operating in the range of operating frequencies from at least 1 to 1250 MHz are described. An experimental study of the frequency dependence of the voltage sensitivity B_u, as well as the amplitude characteristic at four frequencies. It is shown that the detector has a high frequency response uniformity and can be used in measuring and receiving-transmitting equipment.

  • Modelling and experimental research of duplexer for a decimeter radio station

    There are represented scheme and design of duplexer for the 300-344 MHz radio station. Simulation of duplexer was implemented in Microwave Office environment. Experimental research was executed on the complex transmission coefficient measuring instrument such as “Obzor-103”. There are shown amplitude-frecuency characteristic of receive and transmission channels. Comparison of the simulations results with natural experiment proving the identical.

  • A study of the directional coupler on the associated strip lines

    A study of the directional coupler range 1-4GHz. The description of the construction on a symmetrical strip line with a lateral connection is given. The amplitude-frequency characteristics were simulated using the Microwave Office package. The model of the directional coupler is experimentally investigated, the following results are obtained: the working attenuation does not exceed 1.7 dB, the transient attenuation does not exceed 10 dB.

  • Modelling and experimental research of narrow band filter on opposing rods

    Modelling and experimental research of narrow band filter on opposing rods was made. Center frequency is 1010 MHz. In the far zone the filter has blocking more than 100 dB. The pass band width on the Level minus 3 dB from the maximum is 13 MHz, and losses in the pass band are 8 dB.

  • The power divider based on 4 slavnogo quadrature bridge

    The article studies the power divider of 10-centimeter range. A description of the scheme and design of the power divider on the air-strip transmission line. The analysis of the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the power divider in the forward and lateral shoulders with the help of the Microwave Office package is carried out. The model of the power divider is experimentally studied, the following results are obtained: in the band from 2.4 to 3.7 GHz, losses do not exceed 4.3 dB, and the unevenness does not exceed 1.7 dB.

  • Broadband attenuator with electronic control

    In article a modelling and experimental survey of the controlled attenuator in a frequency range 2 - 4 GHz is performed. It is received the minimum attenuation no more than 3.5 dB, the maximum attenuation not less than 56 dB at a current 3.8 mA. The amplitude-frequency characteristic unevenness at a current 3.8 mA does not exceed 3 dB. The attenuator design is made in the form of the hybrid module. The attenuator is intended for adjustment of transfer constant of the microwave receiver.

  • Parallel coupled resonator filters

    Modelling and experimental research of filter onhalf-wave resonators with quarter-wavelength links was made. The following experimental result were received: - center frequency was 3.7 GHz; - passband width was 230 MHz; - losses in the passband were not more than 4 dB; - bkocking at tuning ± 200 MHz was not less than 40 dB. It is recommended to use the filter in a microwave receiver input circuit.

  • Simulation and experimental study of the filter on quarter-wave resonators.

    The article deals with the calcalation, simulation and experimental study of the filter on quater-wave resonators of the range 2 - 4 GHz. The resulting losses in the pass band are of about 1 dB and stop band on the second harmonic is 50 dB. The good coincidence between the simulation results and experiment is shown.

  • Modelling and experimental research of path filter of C range

    Modelling and experimental research of path filter of C range on opposing rods was made. In the paddband from 4 to 8 GHz losses were not more than 1.5 dB. Blocking at tuning downwards per 1 GHz was not less than 50 dB. Blocking at tuning upwards per 2 GHz was not less than 70 dB. There is a false passband 16.6 - 21.5 GHz.
